Top Horizontal Menu: Copy Settings to New Installation

Hi

Our website stopped working on a VPS for some reason. Since it wasn't live yet, we decided to host the website on shared hosting. After installing it on a new host, we managed to install the backup of the theme of the old corrupted website. The website looks okay and the same after installation of the theme except the top horizontal menu. We have about 15 top level categories each having lots of sub categories going down to a number of levels. On the old website, the Top Horizontal Menu had a nice + sign/button at the right corner, clicking on which would expand the menu and show the remaining top level categories on line 2. Same was the case with sub-categories; after a certain number of sub-categories in a level, a nice plus sign would indicate that there are more. Click on the + and you would get that particular tree expanded.

The new website just shows all categories. Nothing collapsed, no plus (+) button to expand. Top level menus shown in two lines where second line overlaps the slider images. We were wondering how to achieve the same configs for the top menu as the old website. We do have access to the old installation via ftp but can't load that website both front and backend to access the features. Is there a way we can copy everything from the old installation files for the top horizontal menu and make it a part of the new installation? If yes, which parts of the theme and modules to move? Will it be just a copy paste or much more needs to be done? We don't want to mess up the new website.

Hope you guys can guide us to the right path?

Regards

Hi musicmaster

Thanks for the reply. The theme was installed from an earlier exported version of the theme. It installed successfully along with all modules. Could it be that the theme was using some css files that were not exported as part of the theme export process?

Regards
