moving Prestashop for Testing

I need to copy a Site for testing - currently at root of www.mydomain.com  to either

a subfolder or better still {preferably} subfolder of another domain

I've copied the Files and Database

I made some changes to the SQL dump - but some products are not opening correctly

I can change the URL ie. put in a / after the subfolder

obviously, I haven't done it right!!

Have you tried searching the forums or a google search on this topic?  It has been discussed many times, and if its a bit too technical for you, there are modules that help with this.  I believe Presto Changeo sells one.
