I am trying to add a category and where it says "Friendly URL" there is an asterisk which means I must put something there.I am confused and I feel a little silly for asking this because everyone else seems to know the answer, but what are Friendly URLs and why do I have to have one in my categories?BTW, my web address is (in case someone needs to see it) http://www.deesnewdesigns.com/store/.Best and Warmest Regardsmisstheresa2009 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rocky Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Friendly URL makes the category URL more user and search engine friendly by putting keywords in the URL. For example, 1-category-name instead of category.php?id_category=1. The Friendly URL field lets you specify the keywords used in the URL.
