difference between in_transit and shipped mail?

Recommended Posts

I was looking at the mail folder to translate it to our own language, and I came across in_transit.txt and shipped.txt

Basically the message are the same that the package is on the way and they could track it. When do we use in_transit and when do we use the shipped email?

The "shipped" e-mail is sent before the tracking URL is known, which is why it says "You will soon receive a URL to click on in order to track the delivery progress of your package.". Once you've entering the tracking URL for the order, the "in_transit" e-mail is sent with the tracking URL.
