Prestashop 1.7 in customer message utf8 not supported?

I am currently using v1.7.2.4 and when the customer message is saved, it is displayed poorly, look at the pictures. Does anyone know how to fix it?

The message has to be character escaped to safely save it in the database.  However it does not appear to be 'unescaped' when displayed back to the user.  Probably a defect, you might consider reporting the issue to Prestashop using their forge.

I fixed the error:

  public function setMessage($message)
    {
        $this->_updateMessage(Tools::safeOutput($message));

        return $this;
    }

to

  public function setMessage($message)
    {
        $this->_updateMessage(($message));

        return $this;
    }
