musicmaster Posted February 15, 2018 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Dropping ps_products falls in the category "really dumb". It is an essential table so even emptying it would have been better. But in fact products are spread over many different tables. So you are strongly advised to delete products with system commands. Otherwise all kinds of remnants stay behind and may cause trouble. What next depends on your situation. If it is a very basic shop you might start from scratch. If you have a backup you might get your product table from there. Otherwise the best option might be to create a fresh installation with the same PS version and then increasing its auto_increase counter to above what you had so that the remnants in the other tables won't cause trouble.
