<Solved>Carrier Configuration

I'm currently still using version 1.2.0.6 which is ok when I'm only selling locally. Now I would like to expand to oversea order but having problem setting up the carrier.
I want shipping for local calculated based on total price which is working fine now; but now for oversea order I need it to be calculated based on the total weight.
I have tried different setting without success.
Have I missed something?!

I did not upgrade to the higher version as it was working (only fo local order).

It's not possible to have one carrier shipping by price and another shipping by weight. You must use one or the other for both.

I see.....
Need to find a work around as this is a problem for my site.
I have 3-option set : (a) Local Delivery ( Local Delivery below $30.00 © Self Collection...... All conditions set.
Setting by weight all the 3 option appears for selection at checkout.....problem is for (a) local delivery which is invalid as the condition set is based on minimum order value of 30.00 for free local delivery.

Setting by price, it is workingcorrectly as per set condition.....this works only when I'm selling locally....
If I were to sell overseas, then I need to set by weight (using fedex).

Any suggestion?

Perhaps you could use a Fedex module to handle shipping internationally and use your existing "Shipping by price" settings locally. You could ask tomerg3 whether it is possible with his Fedex module.
