Sendtofriend module SPAM Attacks

Hi all,

I need help, my website got spam bots that use sendtofriend module to send out spam emails. I had deleted the module, and it stops sending spam.

But still got lots of visitor going to the sendtofriend module url, how to stop this unwanted visitors to keep visiting?

It takes up small bandwith, but can take up resources. Will it able to take down my site if they keep coming?
