Order Email Notifications

Hi there,

 

We are not getting email notifications for orders. Where do I change this setting? All other emails are been sent out fine, i.e newsletters and customer order notifications.  But I can't find where the setting for order notifications for us is.

Currently the only way to check orders is to log into the site. I'd much prefer if notifications were sent to our email.

mail alerts module is what sends the merchant/admin a new order email notification

The module is already built in prestashop module. Just type mail alert in module sections and you will find it. Just install it and configure.

I too cannot find the mailalerts module. I am running Prestashop 1.7.2.2.

I have used it in other stores running V 1.6, but am getting very frustrated with this new version.

Why is this not built in to the core, as it would seem to me a basic function of an online store? Can anyone please assist? Thank you

if it is not installed already, then you should not be searching in the installed modules section.

have you tried to search in the Selection menu instead?

Also in PS v1.7, the module is named ps_emailalerts

I am sure I had searched in Selection menu (I had searched everywhere!), however there it was, clear as day. Michael you are a superstar, and your support in these forums and to the prestashop community is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know, it is not very intuitive why the search function would not search through all modules, however this is prestashop after all.

I searched everywhere for this and still didn't find it on our installation. We are running  1.6.1.17 

 

I've searched through all the modules, installed and not installed and its not there. Any advice?

Hi everyone, BargainCoils and jaytech. 

 

The free PS Module is called Email Notifications and works FINE with PrestaShop 1.7.6.4:

 

 

The emails are send to Merchant for: 

• new orders
• merchandise order returns 
• low stock based on limit defined by merchant
