rahulteja
Can anyone help me in removing address page before going to payment page. I want to make default address fixed for all orders. Thanks in advance.
Scully
It's not that easy since prestashop needs an address, or even two to be precise. Once it the billing address, the other one is the shipping address. Just removing a section from the order checkout process wouln't be enough. NemoPS
You can try hiding the whole form and pre-filling its template file, but it might not work as expected with such a quick solution
rahulteja
Okay, so, is it not possible for prestashop to consider default address automatically for a checkout ? I mean, is there any possibility for at least hiding the section from displaying ?
Scully
Its considering the only address as default and it shows this address - with the option to changed it if needed. But since we don't know your prestashop version, theme used and the type of checkout set, any detailled advice isn't possible.

I'm just using the normal prestashop 1.6.1.15 and theme currently in use is default-bootstrap. Can you help me in this ? Thanks in advance. Scully
One page checkout or 5-page checkout?
rahulteja
One page checkout or 5-page checkout? I'm currently using 5-page checkout.
Scully
The file responsible for the base layout of the 5-page-checkout is called order-steps.tpl In there you find shipping around line 65. It starts with an
and ends with
. Then we have the file order-address.tpl which handles the addresses. You cannot just delete or rename the file. You needed to use CSS to hide the address. More finetuning might be needed.
