eltitos
If you bought only the co.uk, you need to choose an hosting service. Then you need to redirect .co.uk to the adress IP of your hosting service. (from the site where you bought the co.uk)Then you start the install http://yourdomain.co.uk/install/

pasko
42 Pounds.Very simple, 1- I open for you a account with a Very good Hosting Provider.2- I change the DNS from where you have your domain name registered to point your new Hosting Provider, where your website will be located.3- I install your Prestashop "latest version 1.3.x"And you are ready to start selling on the INTERNET! simpson7647
42 pounds is expensive just to let that up isnt it??How much hosting do i get for this? and how much is hosting a month?Once you have completed your job, does that mean ill be literally at the same stage as the 'trial' window you see on prestashop. As in you can easily add new products etc by the click of a button?thanks
pasko
Just do it by your self, it is easy and free! glenns
You can probably get hosting through the same company as your domain or find another.I am not all that good at a lot of this stuff so I had Presto Changeo help me with some things and it is money well spent.Likewise you can get some paid help from others on here like Rocky (Nethercott Constructions) and other developers on here who offer their services. If you figure that PrestaShop is free, spending a little money to make sure it is setup correctly or on third party modules to make it work right for your application is not a big deal. If you really want to run a good e-commerce site and make some money from it spending some money on it should be no big deal. If you had to go and pay someone to build you a complete website I am sure you would probably spend at a minimum $500 USD, probably way more. Getting PrestaShop for free and spending some money on modules or setup/design help from the developers here is WAY cheaper than most other solutions out there in my opinion. If you take the time to read and research you could probably do it all by yourself, I did a lot of mine by myself and anytime I had a question I would just use the search or Google and 9 out 10 times you find the answer right here on the forums, usually with Rocky, Tomer or one of the other developers giving the answer! There is also a book out now on Amazon that is all about Prestashop.Hope this helps!
