Internal Server Error

Recommended Posts

Hi

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I am new to Prestashop and have come across a problem in which I need some assistance.

I am in the process of importing categories via a CSV file, which went OK. However, now when I click on the categorey in the admin section to edit it, I get the following error message.

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

It was working fine until I imported the CSV file.

I was just wondering if anyone could advise?

Thanks.

It usually implies there are permission problems, but in the case it may be something else.

You should check in your host's cPanel for an error log, it should show the actual error there (you may want to try and get the error again in the admin so you'll know it will appear at the top of the error log)
