[SOLVED]Count children in subcategorys

Okay, suppose I have a category 'Television', with subs 'Full HD' and 'HD Ready'.

When visiting the 'Televisions'-page, it says there are no products in that category, even though I have products in my 'Full HD' and 'HD Ready'.

Is there are workarond for this kind of problem?


Perhaps add a flag to each category to state if it's an actual category or just a parent for actual categorys.

It would also be usefull in the JBX menu, where it counts the product per category to display in the menu.

SOLVED: Turns out you have to check the parent as a category as well ...

When you add products you will see all the checkboxes for your categories.
If a product belongs to "Full HD" which is a sub of Television, then check both boxes.

Ah, that seems to do the trick. I didn't want to do this at firts because I was afraid multiple categorys would screw up the block with products of the same category
