.htaccess problem Now no website and backoffice HELP

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I was following instructions on making freindly URL

Then i went to FTP and got a copied the .htaccess file from a new unzipped prestashop download and copied into the root directory of prestashop now,

Stupidly forgot to download the 1 that was there as a backup

Now i cant access anything front site or back office all I get is error

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /admin/ on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I then tried this suggestion
http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/12080/general_discussion/403_error

and now get

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Oh what Have I done, I spent days setting up the store and loading products now I dont know what to do and stressed

Please can anyone help me out as soon as possible.

Kind Regards
