Is there a sale products page and a discounted products page?

Hi,

 

I want to make an outlet (discounted products) part in my shop next to the sale (seasonal products). Never before I took a good look at the drop-price page that you can find in BO settings/SEO & URL tab.

To get your product in the drop-price page you give a discount. What else happens when you place it on sale apart from the label changing?

 

So you can:

• give a product a discount
• put a product on sale

So where is the discounted product page and where is the sale page? I only can find the drop-price page. Why is there a on sale possibility?

 

I hope someone can explain why these features excist and hopefully can explain how I can make a "real" sale page.

Sale page: This is native Prestashop feature and you will find all offers under "Specials". Not to confound with the tab "specials" on homepage, which is the module homefeatured. Specials you will find on footer links.

 

Discontinued products: this is not a part of Prestashop native features. You can solve this by adding a category with this name and link all your products there.
