Works with Default Data - but not when I move over data from Presta Cloud

I've been trying to get my shop working since presta cloud went down.  I've followed the instructions, provided but I've got one main problem

1. After I install the shop with the default database, I can place an order and it stays in the cart and I can check out.
2. Then if I switch to the database export provided to me (from the cloud shop) I see all my products etc. and things LOOK good, but when I attempt to check out with an item, it won't stay in the cart and allow check out.

I've posted on the community and reposted and searched but I've never got a response in many months.  

I am hoping someone can help.

 

Right now the site is pointing to the uploaded SQL export (and not allowing checkout).  I can easily switch it to the default (with install) database and then everything works - but of course I don't have the store data.  There is obviously something minor with the data setup causing major problems.

 

Ideas?
