Arnout
Hello, I have some items to sell, whose dimensions are greater than the normal package sizes. So i would like to add additional shipping costs. The problem i find, is that in the shipping settings, i can only add costs per 1 sold item. But sometimes, when a customer buys multiple of the same item, the additional shipping costs are than also multiplied. So my wish would be, when a customer buys 1 or more of the same item, additional shipping costs are only added 1 time. Does anybody have an idea on how to do that? Thank greatly in advance! presta version 1,6,0,
musicmaster
Assigning a separate carrier?
Scully
I see this the same way as music master. The additional handling costs in the product data is multiplied by the number of items for this product. If you want to change this, you had to write an override or a module for that. Assigning a special carrier is easy if you have weight in your products. If not but there are only few products, just put in 50 kgs as example and make a new carrier which starts at 50 kgs with a flat fee.
Arnout
works like a charm! (i had to make little changes as it was not possible to assign a minimum weight for a carrier but only a maximum.) Thank you both!
