id_product doubt

I am integrating prestashop with an erp

I see the id_product is auto-increment but not unique, then one id can repeat?

The id_product in ps_product should not repeat. It should be unique. In other tables like ps_category_product, where the product can be in multiple categories, it will not be unique.

But it is not, at least not in ps_product structure, it seems that it is unique because it is incremental but speaking on a integration scenario the id is duplicated making an update.

So I'm thinking to changet he ps_product structure only in the id_product to be unique.
