How to change default links (pages) on main navigation bar

Recommended Posts

Prestashop by default comes with a series of links to pages (Home, About Us, Contact us...) on the main navigation bar in the header and also in the footer.

Is there a way to change/add/remove these links by using the back office administration panel?

I know how to do it changing the code, I am just wondering if there is another way.

Thanks in advance

The only way to do this is to edit the tempalte file in your theme.
You can copy the template file to your theme in a new folder : /themes/yourtheme/modules/module-name/template file.
So in this case you need to change blockinfos module.

Copy the tpl file into your /themes/yourtheme/modules/blockinfos/blockinfos.tpl
Change the code and it should be changed on the front end.
Be sure not to forget the translation again.

The "Info block" and "Footer links" blocks in the "Blocks" section of the Modules tab have configuration pages that let you choose which CMS pages are displayed in those blocks. For none-CMS links, you will have to modify modules/blockinfos/blockinfos.tpl or modules/blockvariouslinks/blockvariouslinks.tpl.
