[Solved] Is it possible to use EAN as primary key in Prestashop 1.6 ?

Hello,

I would like to use EAN as key when importing products but I can't find how to do it.

Why do I want to do that ? Because sometimes I want to update some pieces of information on my already existing products, and therefore would like the import to overwrite existing product rather than creating new ones. I can't use the ID or reference as I sometimes retrieve information from other websites (like the quantity available from supllier's website, etc).

Any help will be appreciated,

it is not possible by default, only using some extra import module (for example this import module has such an option) or a custom developed solution.
