When switching from new theme to old them then to New again the blocks settings get reseted

Prestashop 1.7

 

I noticed When switching from new theme to old them then to New again the blocks settings get reseted.

 

To explain more, i created a new theme by copying the classic theme folder and renamed it. Hidden some blocks on homepage like the HomepageSlider, then in admin I activate the Classic theme again then I activated the New theme and the Homeslider which should be turned off is back again!

 

is this normal?

You also tried to delete smarty cache and browser cache for see truth result ?

I haven't tried to delete Smarty cache or browser cache because I checked in the admin office in the Positions page and the block was activated so the change was on database level maybe. For sure not Smarty cache or browser cache is the problem
