Product list transfer!

Hey I just made a new fresh install of my presta shop. I was able to copy over most of my modules, global css, images and themes into the new installation. I would love to copy over my old products list to the new store instead of uploading and categorizing all again. Is there any way to copy the old product information over?

I think you can export the ps_category, ps_category_lang, ps_product, ps_product_lang tables from PrestaShop v1.2.5 into the PrestaShop v1.3 tables. The only difference I'm aware of is that the reduction dates on the products now include times as well as dates in PrestaShop v1.3, so you'll need to add 00:00:00 on the end of all the reduction dates in the exported SQL before importing it. Of course, there is always the risk of something going wrong when copying data from one version of PrestaShop into another version.
