Property Product->condition has bad value

I have downloaded PrestaShop 1.7 and am trying to set-up my shop.  I'm comfortable with PrestaShop 1.6 shop set-up, but am not too comfortable with code changing.

 

First issue

Despite all efforts, I am constantly encountering this error in Products Import:

Property Product->condition has bad value

 

What is the solution for this?

 

Second issue

When I try to manually add products, the back-end tool constantly opens a different browser tab and shuts it immediately.

 

1. Is PrestaShop v1.7 stable?
2. What are the solutions to the issues mentioned above?

Check to make sure all your product conditions are either new, used or refurbished. Those are the only accepted values.

 

PrestaShop v1.7 is not as stable as PrestaShop v1.6. You can continue to use PrestaShop v1.6 until v1.7 becomes more stable.
