Evan H Posted January 12, 2017 Share Posted January 12, 2017 Just installed Prestashop 1.7.0.4 on Commercial web host (Prestashop 1.6 works fine on their servers), Got all good indications all the way.Shop front is fully working and shows default theme , so all good there. When I log into the Back Office User and password screen, with correct details I get:"503 Service Unavailable". So I can't get into the Back end.Web host said that I should contactthe developerAny suggestion on how to fix this?" 503 Service UnavailableThe server is temporarily busy, try again later! Evan H Posted January 19, 2017 Author Share Posted January 19, 2017 Did a Re-Install, paying particular attention to the error messages given by Prestashop Install process.Fixed the errors as outlined by Installer, and now all good.Also had the original install on a subdomain with a hiphen in the domain name. Too many complications, so registered a simpler domain name and loaded on that.Could have been either issue.But now all good.Tip also to activate a PhP Accelerator.! Good Luck to everybody.
