Tax in invoice.pdf 0.01€ error - Rounding bug - How to fix???

Version 1.2.5 was pretty much unusable with regards to the invoices it generated. If you sold multible numbers of the same item with discounts applied, the .01 rounding bug would really mess up the sub-totaling. I'm surprised more people weren't bothered by this. In the end I disabled the pdf invoicing altogether and manually generated my own. What a pain!

Patiently waiting 1.3, I was assured this error would be fixed. Then I take a peek in the bug tracker and see that the rounding discrepancy is still causing problems (see #4668). Mr Biart has responded to the bug and has said it has been fixed. If so, what file / code do I need to modify on 1.3.1 to correct this problem?

On a side note, I really struggle to make sense of the responses given on the bug tracker. Many of the answers are 'this has been fixed on svn version...' Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to use the SVN to find out what needs to be changed. The Changelog doesn't tell you, the PS staff don't explain on the bug tracker or forum, and everyone says don't use SVN versions on a production site. Have I missed something? am I being stupid/thick and not getting how to fix problems once the PS team say a problem has been resolved.

Please help this frustrated PS user. I've pulled all my hair out over the last couple of months with head-banging frustration.

Ok, looks like there's an updated SVN version. From the most recent changelog:

v1.3.2.1 - 2350 (2010-04-06)

Fixed bugs :

# Classes : Product price fixed when tax disabled (the state tax was still applied)
# Classes : fixed bug on product page when taxes are disabled
# FO/BO : Price rounding fixed on the Front Office cart page & Back Office order detail page
# PDF : Price display fixed (total rounding & shipping cost(when no tax applied))

From the sea of red that has appeared in the bug tracker since 1.3.0, the rounding bug is the only problem of any significance to my install.

Would anyone from the development team like to suggest which files I should update before I attempt a complete re-install?

So the last two main releases of prestashop have either been unable to generate accurate invoices (legal requirement for most countries!) or carts that reflect the actual price of someone's purchase. Nice :roll:

Rounding error

we have installed the latest version of Prestashop and we have a rounding error 0,01 with paypal.

can someone tell me - i have look at the forum but oculd not find the latest fix.

Any solutions for the 0,01 cent error problem? Only one cent making such a big mess...
