raceway Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 My site was hacked this morning using Version 1.2.5.0, it looks like all they did was change my settings.inc file. The file permissions were set at 644. Hopefully that is all they did, its seems to be running good now. Anybody have any clue about how they would be able to overwrite just that one file? rocky Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010 If you had the config folder as chmod 755 and settings.inc.php as chmod 644, then they couldn't have edited the file. They would need to have your username and password, possibly through a keylogger or other malware on your computer, or a public computer if you entered your username and password in an Internet café.
