Invalid product: This product cannot be added to the cart when using backend function

I am trying to add an order within the backend for a customer but it's not working, underneath the Cart option > Search for a product > I have entered the product on my website and this error message appears: Invalid product: This product cannot be added to the cart

 

Can you someone please advise further because since I have upgraded to 1.6.1.9 is not working now
