Changes Not Saving

Throughout my back office when I make a change to something, it doesn't stick. Sometimes I have to make the change 20 times to get it to go through. 

 

For example, on my product pages I was trying to change the image associated with different combinations. I would set the image and save, then come back to edit and it would not be saved. Repeat ad nauseam until finally , for whatever reason, it would stick.  

 

In another spot where I am trying to change a slider in the iOSslider module, I want to remove a frame. I deactivate it but it never deactivates. I try to delete it but it doesn't delete.

Any ideas what is going on here?

Thanks. I looked around but I guess I didn't look hard enough. I was not able to fix it by removing the three lines of code, but I was able to fix it by installing the module from here: [Removed dangerous module]

Wow. What should I do then? If the removal of the three lines of code didn't work...
