404 redirect page to homepage?

Can anyone tell me how to redirect the prestashop 404.php/404.tpl to my index.php page?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure whether that is a good idea, but you can do it by changing the following in your .htaccess file:

ErrorDocument 404 /404.php

to:

ErrorDocument 404 /index.php

and i search the .httaccess

but not found

do you know where the file is?
