Unable to add products after activating friendly URLs

After I activate friendly URLs I get an error page when I try to add products to the basket. Does any body knows the correct code to add the rewrite rules in the .htaccess.

I still haven't been able to get the add to cart button  to work on a fresh installation. After deleting the .htaccess and activating the friendly URLs I get the following code:
