Paypal Return URL

What should the return url be that is entered on the paypal site under profile, website payment preference. I have searched and found nothing on the what it should be. It does look like there have been quite a few issues with the setup of this module and the wiki documentation is of no help.

Follow the instructions on the paypal module.

Set the auto return radio button to OFF and do not enter a return URL

Thanks, I had just figured that out. Now if I can just get the rest of it working correctly.

This is all great, but what if I need to tell paypal to return to a particular url after purchase,

like this:

www.validation.com/item=001

001 being the product ref number in the backend

I know the Paypal button creation does have it in its parameters, but how to place it into prresta.

Any help?

I thought of modifying the paypal module, but how???

You must get this done in your PayPal account, there is where you indicate (in paypal website, must log-in) which is the return url must client be re-directed to.

There are some content requirements on this URL (read it in paypal).
