santoshcbonline Posted October 19, 2016 Share Posted October 19, 2016 I have a prestashop store on 1.6.1.0 version On category page I displayed subcategory thumbnails. Whenever I delete the cover image of a certain subcategory then thumbnail image also disappear on frontend. Why it is necessary to having cover image to show thumbnail image? razaro Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Because it is same image just in different dimensions, different type. When you upload category image it creates both cover and thumvnail type. If you do not want to display category image you could change your theme. Code is in category.tpl.
