Oh, that won't work, since the cookie key will have changed, so your passwords will no longer match. You'll need to edit config/settings.inc.php and change the _COOKIE_KEY_, _COOKIE_IV_, _RIJNDAEL_KEY_ and _RIJNDAEL_IV_. If you can't do that, you'll need to use an MD5 generator to get the hash key for your new cookie key and replace your old password in the ps_employee table.

Go here and paste your new _COOKIE_KEY_ value from config/defines.inc.php followed by your password. Click the "Generate" button to get your hash key. You can then log in to your cPanel and access phpMyAdmin to open the ps_employee table and change your password to the new hash key.
