Customer Hangup during Checkout

I tried it with both versions 1.6.0.9 and 1.6.1.7, Firefox and Chrome.

 

Customers are unable to get through the Check out process. They sign in, Click Check out, Get to the Summary page, then the Address page. When they hit the Proceed to Check out button, the screen hangs, appears to be doing something, then returns a blank page with the URL: https:<site address>/order.

I was able to get an error code:

Could really use some help with this. It was working fine just a week ago. It happens during checkout while moving from the Address page to the Shipping page.

I am showing a HTTP:500 error in some browsers, but that doesn't seem to be the underlying problem.

have you contacted dev of selstrom module?

 

I suspect you need it to work, but it also appears to be creating your fatal error above.  You may need to disable but again you might have dependencies on carriers.

It was the Sellstrom module. Just trying to configure it hung the system.

 

Not sure where it came from or how it got enabled, but once disabled the checkout process is working as before.
