Can't edit products / Spinning buttons.

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

For the last week I have been unable to edit existing products or add new ones.
None of the pages load, except for the first 'information' tab. The right side stays
blank and nothing happens.

I have searched the internet and came across a lot of other people with the same
problem, but I can't find the solution. If i'm not able to upload products I can't start
my store at all...

When I press ctr + shift + j in chrome, this is the error I see: 'Synchronous XMLHttpRequest
on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience.
For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.'

I hope someone can help me!

Thanks in advance :)

Jane

I know this is not a help at all, cause I'm struggling with this problem too, but there is for a while a help (30 days for free), if it helps you.

I'm using Presta Store Manager for to manage my shops now. http://addons.prestashop.com/en/2937-store-manager-for-prestashop.html

I added this problem to forge on June, no answer, I added it yesterday again (and several other times, with some return of dev team, but not really a final solution on this problem): http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-8382. The only thing we as user can do is not to wait and search for other possibilities to manage the catalog, which by the way are working without constant bugs....

Here you will find others with same problem: http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFV-12359

It was solved by a while and on each new Prestashop version this problem comes again....

Thank you very much for your fast response and the link to the store manager! Do you know what this will cost after the trial period?

I am a little disappointed to find this issue reported already back in 2015 also, and that there seems to be no solution yet.
You would think this would be a major issue for the users and that it would be fixed by now?

It depends on the version you will select. Pro edition - you can manage more than one store and there are also some features more on board. The standard version is only for one Domain. Price plans: https://www.prestashopmanager.com/order/

For the time being you can try 30 days, perhaps this helps you, and I'm confident, that Prestashop will correct this bug soon.... but as I said and experience of the past: The correction does not last.... each new version, the error again available. We are having this issue since Prestashop 1.5 latest versions.... so more than 2 years.
