Recommended Posts

Hi All,

have purchased theme from prestashop Addon market and then I have successful installed prestashop 1.6.1.6 initial setup and configured the purchased theme in to godady Cpannel hosting.

My problem is that after theme configuration, I keep seeing prestashop default bootstrap as home page inserted of seeing purchased theme.

My Theme Name – Natural Cosmetics

I am seeing only - prestashop default boot strap as home page.

Kindly assist how i can fix this problem..

Regards

Rasul

Hi Vipul Hadiya, I appreciate and thank you for quick response..

Can you share how did you installed purchased theme?

logged in to prestashop back office..

under preferences -> There - > Add New theme ( Theme1142.zip uploaded from local PC) then save.

once theme is uploaded and then i choose my them to be used as default theme.

in module install without any customisation I have just saved

regenerated thumnails then saved.

Please note a to z i did not receive any error all steps executed correctly.

After this step i refreshed my hosting drive and also prestashop backoffice but result gets failed, i mean opening only default bootstrap instead of opening newly installed theme.

I refereed this video to configure (

)

Kindly assist were i am making mistake...Thanks

What you did is what you should do, you did it correct.

Now what can be issue is cache, i don't know how my answer is correct but default PrestaShop have "Never recompile template files" option under

So once go to Advanced Parameters => Performance and clear cache plus set  "Recompile templates if the files have been updated" option for Template compilation

Please try this and tell us is that worked?
