[SOLVED] Please Help!! I Need help to set up shipping price on my website.

I hope this is the right place to post up a tread for help if not let me know....but anyways .....I want to calculate my shipping cost by the lb.

I want to charge $5.00 for each lb

for an example....

1lb = $5 for shipping
2llbs = $10 for shipping
3lbs = $15 for shipping

Can you please show me step by step what to do.

On the Shipping tab, set shipping to be calculated "According to total weight", then go to Shipping > Weight ranges and set up weight ranges for each of your carriers as 0-1 lb, 1-2 lb, 2-3 lb, etc. Once you've done that, return to the Shipping tab, then select each carrier in the dropdown at the bottom and enter $5 under 0-1 lb, $10 for 1-2 lb, $15 for 2-3 lb, etc. The shipping should now be calculated based on the total weight of the cart. Then you just need to edit each of your products and add the weight in the "Weight" field on the "1. Info." tab.

Hey rocky you help me with my shipping question. I have another question can I have more then 1 Carrier Option during check out to give my customer the option to choose either FedEx, UPS or DHL for shipping? If so how can I do that?

Yes, go to Shipping > Carriers and create a FedEx carrier, UPS carrier and DHL carrier. You can set which zones and states each carrier is offered.

No, that is not possible with PrestaShop at the moment. I have written a hack here that lets you use the weight field of the product as the shipping price for the product.
