paulinewong
Firstly, I am new to Prestashop. I have tried Googling and searching my question but have not been able to find a solution. I installed the default-bootstrap theme and I am happy with the current structure. But I want to make some slight additions to certain aspects of the theme. For example, I removed the ContactController at the top header but I want to add a simple sentence to that same spot. How do I go about adding the below HTML coding to the tpl file?
FREE Shipping within Canada & US
I also want to add a sentence below the page title on the Contact Form to make the page a little more friendly and personalized. For example,
I would love to hear from you! Send me a message and I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours. Likewise, you can also email me at [email protected] or a message on Facebook.
I appreciate any help. Thank you in advance! vekia
just add the code in the place where you want to display it, in this case somewhere inside header.tpl file (themes/your-theme/header.tpl)
paulinewong
I have done so but when I refresh the website (currently in Maintenance mode), I cannot see the added layer,
paulinewong
I figured it out. Looks like I had to go in modify the Template Compilation settings under Performance. Thank you!
