MailAlert Module

Hi,

If I'm not mistaken, in the latest version the mailalert module is working correctly and we will get emailed everytime there's new order. I'd like to know if it's possible to implement the fix without upgrading the whole thing. I've tried grabbing the latest mailalert module (1.3RC3) and put that module to my old prestashop (1.25) and then activate the module. But still no luck.

Can someone tell me if this can be done ? If yes, what's the proper way to do it ? And are there any other related files/folders we need to replace beside the mailalert module to fix it without upgrading the whole thing ?

As far as I know, mailalerts is working fine on PS 1.2.5

Here's the quote from the latest release (v1.3 rc3) :
- Fixed the “Mailalert" module - emails sending

So when mine doesn't work I thought it was because the common bugs.

Good thing you mention it, I search the forum and found the solution : I have to replace the MailSend.php with the updated ones. Here's the link :
