PHP problems after installing

Hey all,

 

After installing Prestashop and filling in the installation forms, I got white screens. Now I changed something in "defines.inc.php" I can read the error message. But I don't understand.

 

If I go to the home page I got:

Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty Compiler: Syntax error in template "E:\HostingSpaces\Hoogerhe\shop.zeelanddesign.nl\wwwroot\modules\blocknewproducts\views\templates\hook\blocknewproducts_home.tpl" on line 26 "{include file="$tpl_dir./product-list.tpl" products=$new_products class='blocknewproducts tab-pane' id='blocknewproducts'}" unknown tag "include" <-- thrown in E:\HostingSpaces\Hoogerhe\shop.zeelanddesign.nl\wwwroot\tools\smarty\sysplugins\smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 26

 

And when I go to the admin page:

Can anybody help me please?

This seems to me like issue of incomplete transfer of files to remote host, i.e. some files uploaded were interrupted and incomplete file upload.  I would re-ftp up or better from hosting to upload the ps installation zip file and unzip in your domain.  I hope this helps.  Happy day, el

Installing a zip file was already a lot better.

 

But now after three time's uploading again I only got a white front page.

Also in DEBUG mode.

If you have debug mode enabled and see white page but no other information then I suggest you find your  php error log from your hosting account.  There you may find the error that is causing the white page.
