Automatically send emails te customers

I have a question. I use Prestashop cloud 1.6 and I want to send automatically orderconfirmation emails, Payment confirmation emails to customers. How can I do that? Wich module?

hi, use the search box on modules page and look for 'mail alerts'....

Yes I tried "mail alerts" but It doesn't work:

 

For Customers notifications I can use 2 options: "Product availability" and "Order edit" and they are both on

I Also filled in my email in Merchant notifications but as a merchant I also don't receive an email.

 

What do I do wrong?

uhm..so you sucked me into email not sending issue,  these I avoid at all costs..lol

 

have you tested email send?

 

back office-->advanced parms-->email

 

if not sending properly then enable ps debug mode to see if any error messages

Sorry for sucking you in to this  . Yes I tried test email send.

 

I get: Authentication failed using username '*************' and password '*********'

 

The username is automatically filled in the SMTP username field and password automatically filled in the SMTP password field. These are my prestashop email + pasword. Is this ok? How can I enable ps debug mode?

This is why i use the cloud version. I don't mess with php code so i dont need to debug or am i wrong? I only install the official modules  . I just tried the module "sendinblue". I tried to send a test email and i works. So fingers crossed.

every shop manager needs capability to enable debug mode, then from that information they can find possible solution.  it's a must know.

 

for your particular issue, smtp...that may just be simply a credential issue....
