Store randomly kicks user back to main site index page

I am having an annoying random issue (which has lost me quite a lot of sales) where the site will randomly kick the user back to the main web root page and trying to access the store after just kicks you back to the main index page again.

 

Trying to access anything via a direct URL (google search result etc) does the same - just takes you to the main site index.html

 

It happens in the Front and backend. It has happened to me using Chrome, IE, Edge, other customers using safari have had the same issue.

 

When it happens, the only way you can get back in is by clearing your local browser data.

 

Every time it has happened to me it has been when I have been doing something different, eg. one time I clicked Add to Cart, and it booted me, another time I was changing a product quantity and it booted me. There is nothing that consistently causes the issue.

 

I have the store setup in a /store directory, and when it kicks you out, it kicks you back to the main index.html in the web root.

 

I have been having this issue for quite a while now, from memory it has happened in all versions 1.6+ 

 

Updates don't seem to make any difference.

 I would enable PrestaShop debug  mode, get a cup of something and try to  recreate...and see if you can find a php error.

 

also you  can check php error log from hosting...
