[SOLVED] views block with thumbnails flickering

I am using a theme by 2link which is using a block displaying thumbnails under the main product image.
Whenever the main image disappears while a new one is loading, the whole style is distorted because the is no placeholder for where the image is flickering. I created a little video describing the problem:

ok, I found the fix myself.
Putting a new div around the image with the id="bigpic" and defining its height as 300px will solve the problem.
