Make Products Private

Hi Guys,

 

May I know if its possible to make my product private? My plan is I will make login page wherein only validated customers can be directed to that product.

There are two options for this:

 

paid:

VIP-Shop addons. Here your customers will not see any products BEFORE registration. Addons site: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/search?id_category=0&search_query=private+sale

 

free:

Customer groups: here everybody can see your products, but no prices and therefore no orders before they aren't added to the group.

In this case create a customer group VIP and add your clients there. For all other customer groups you simply disable prices. This option doesn't HID products, because they are searchable, so a paid solution would be better, if you want to hide products.
