Sub-category cover image, how can I remove or make this smaller please?

I have created sub-categories on my store, with images for the menu, but this also includes a really large 'cover image' when you click on the tab. The image is so big you have to scroll to find the products and therefore I want to remove the cover image but keep the thumbnails in the menu. I have tried various combinations in the category creation section of the BO but it seems to be an all or nothing option!

I know there is probably an easy solution to this but I just can't find it. I don't want to have to go into coding as this really scares me (I'm likely to break something else!)

Do not be worried about a little bit of code' just add this to the bottom of your global.css file:

 

.content_scene_cat .content_scene_cat_bg {display: none;}
