European Vat Module - Skip The Vat Control For A Country

Hi,

 

I've just installed the European VAT module (1.8.1) to my prestashop 1.6.1.3 website and this module is what I need in order to control the VAT number of my European customers.

 

The only problem is that this module doesn't allow the customers from my country to insert a valid no-intra VAT number. So if the VAT number isn't enrolled in the VIES archives, this module don't allow the customer to insert VAT number even if it is valid in my country.

 

Is possibile to skip the automatic control of the VAT number for a specific country?

I think all VAT numbers should be successfully validated by the VIES service. As I know there is no "special" VAT number.

 

Do you mean a different number, not VAT number? Can be that "other" VAT number successfully validated at http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/ ?
