Syntax Error

Good afternoon. I get a syntax error on each page as the image below shows and the footer is not displayed properly. Can anybody tell how to resolve this issue? many thanks

My guess is that the "Quick search block" is missing from the "Header of pages" hook. Go to Modules > Positions > Transplant a module, then select "Quick search block" under "Module" and "Header of pages" under "Hook into".

Further problem I have is when i add the footer it bunches up like the image below.
