Do Not Allow Registered Users Until Varified

I am creating a shop which has trade and wholesale, when a trade customer wants to register they can in the normal way, but I do not want them to be able to use the account until it has been checked and verified that they are infact a trade customer. Can someone point me in the right direction of how to go about achieving this.

native PrestaShop will not inhibit shopping for registered user except one can modify various customer groups to 'try' an accomplish.

 

customers-->groups-->state what that group 'visitor/customer' can see, thus do.

 

however if we disallow shopping for visitor via group setting, and they register PS will 'enable' their account, they will then see shop as group customer....so that  group when then need some configuration....
