Price on category page/product page differ

Hi everyone.

If there is a post regarding this topic (I apologize) but I can’t find it. I wonder if I’m the only one with this issue.

On the category list page, the price is less than what is listed (and correct) on the product page and backoffice. If a user clicks into a product with attributes the price changes. Why?

How can I fix that? I have thought about removing the ‘add to cart’ button from the category page so users can’t send the cheaper price to the cart but I see this done on others sites and it works fine.

Of course users notice this and will always take the cheaper price. :-)

Any ideas?
