[Theme] Override Simplicity Theme Css

Hi there

I'm trying to override a CSS as I don't want to change the original template code.

 

Here is the demo template:

http://demo.posthemes.com/pos_simplicity/

 

Th classi want to change is: header .nav {} located at:

http://demo.posthemes.com/pos_simplicity/themes/pos_simplicity/css/global.css

 

I have changed this class at:

my_prestashop/override/themes/pos_simplicity/css/global.css

But is not working.

 

What I'm doing wrong? Any clue on this?

have you tried clearing the smarty cache and the browser cache after the modification?

yes but is not working either... Im not sure what I did is correct, replicating the global.css path within the override folder.

Now I've noticed that you are in the override folder. That won't work. The override folder is only to override php of classes, controllers or modules, not themes.

If you want to preserve global.css either create a backup of it and then edit it, or create your own styles.css and add it in header.tpl at the end of head.
